BFxenon Installation Instructions: Single Beam

Here is a simple How-To when it comes to installing BFxenon Plug and Play HID Headlights or Fog Lights.

Here you see a straight forward plug and play setup for any single beam vehicle.  The only time this will vary is when it comes to vehicles that need an anti-flicker kit, like Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler vehicles.

If you have one of these vehicles, the anti-flicker kit will go right between the plug from the factory and the ballast.

This diagram simplifies the install process for all the following bulbs:

Dodge Quad Headlamp Install: How-To

How-To: Install BFxenon HIDs on Quad Headlight trucks

Step 1: Remove Grill to access the headlight bolts. You will need a flat head screw driver to remove the clips and a 10mm socket




Step 2: Pull the grill back, lift up on the large tab and pull the grill back at the same time.




Step 3: Remove the 2x 10mm bolts that hold the housing in place



Step 4: In the fender well is a access panel to 1 more 10mm bolt and a long white plastic sliding clip that holds the headlight in. Pull the sliding clip down and remover the bolt.



Step 5: Once you have the headlight housing out, you will need to remove the cap and drill a 1" hold for the wires to come through.



Step 6: Remove the factory bulb and replace it with the BFxenon HID bulb. Use the 2 exposed leads to plug into the factory plug (for power to the ballast). Black to Black and Red to White and Blue


Step 7: Replace cap back into factory housing with the HID wires coming out the back. The wires coming out of the factory plug go into the Anti-Flicker kit and the Anti-Flicker kit goes into the ballast.


Step 8: Mount the ballast and AF Kit. *These are recommended mounting points... you may mount them according to your preference.



Step 9: Test lights before you re-install all the parts. This ensures all the wires are connected properly and you have mounted the ballasts away from any interferences



Step 10: Secure all the bolts back ion place and re-install the grill


Step 11: Take good pictures and send them to: Sales@BFxenon.com

The Midnight Run 10/10/10 was put on to encourage exotic car owners and true auto enthusiasts to get out and drive! Starting off at Club 8Eighty8 in Newport beach, the Midnight Run departed around 11:30pm and headed to The Kress in Hollywood. We had approximately 15 cars make the run and another 15-20 meet at The Kress. We arrived at around 12:30am and pulled right in to our VIP parking spots. Together with red carpet treatment, amazing roof top view, and our cabanas, Midnight Run 10/10/10 was a total success and a very memorable night.

We had the great opportunity this past weekend to be a part of a great American tradition, Tailgating. BFxenon and Savini Forged got to represent for the Monster Energy tailgating bash at the Angels Stadium on Saturday, April 24th.

There was music, games, trivia, drinks, and of course, cars! BFxenon came out with the Monster Energy edition Dodge Charger while Savini made a stylish debut with an 06 Lamborghini Murcielago all blacked out with some nice Monster green. Here are a few shots from the show:

DUB Show in Anaheim, CA 2010

BFxenon supports Monster Energy at the Anaheim, CA DUB car show and concert. This was a gathering of thousands of people, hundreds or cars, and a handful of great artists! The Monster Energy stage featured a full clip of dangerous B-Boys and B-Girls battling till the end. With other performances by Qrome, B.O.B., Game, Iazz, and more, this was an event not to be missed. BFxenon - Texas Trip - Day 1

Well, after 23 hours of driving and four gas stops, I arrived in Sugar Land, TX.
After I woke up for some much needed sleep, I got the chance to meet up with Shane and get his new Kartier Forged "Quintero Spec5R," wheels on his ZO6. Here are some picture from the first photoshoot (more can be seen on our myspace):

Today was the day!! Jay's SIIIICK Chrysler 300 got the new shoes he has been waiting for! Today we finally installed the Kartier Forged 22" Full Face, fully custom, wheels on his 300.

This Chrysler is loaded with the sickest sound system, Air Runner suspension, 300C retrofit headlight housing, BFxenon 8000K HID kit, and (of course) 6" rear lips on his Kartier Forged wheels.
